REMEDIAL SEMESTER

General Procedures
- The remedial semester is OPTIONAL so it is not mandatory for every student to participate in remedial semester
- Students who are allowed to take the remedial semester are those who are active in 2 (two) semesters and/or one semester of the current academic year.
- The courses that can be taken are courses that have been taken in the previous semesters, including the even semester 2020/2021.
- The maximum number of credits that can be taken is 9 credits (SKS). The committee has the right to drop the excess credits without confirmation for students who take more than 9 credit
- Students who are taking KKN (community service) are allowed to take remedial semester with the condition that they take a maximum of 6 credits. The committee has the right to drop the excess credits without confirmation for students doing KKN who take more than 6 credits.
- The minimum number of students in one class is set for 8 students for IP classes. If the number of students does not meet the minimum limit, the class will be cancelled.
- Students who have finished (closed the theory) are not allowed to take the remedial semester.
- The exam scores of the remedial semester do not effect the total intake of the credits (SKS) that will be taken by students in the coming odd semester academic year 2021/2022.
- All lectures in the remedial semester 2020/2021 are carried out by using the online system.
Pre Lecture
- Students who have successfully key in will be automatically assigned to google classroom according to the courses selected within no later than 1 day before the first lecture/class
- Student who have successfully key in but cannot not automatically joined the assigned google classroom until 1 day before the first lecture/class meeting should contact the remedial semester committee via email or WA provided.
- Access to student’s google classroom can be done with the student’s UII Email account ([email protected]). The UII Email access guide is provided in: id/pangmailuii.
- Students who have completed the key in procedure but did not make the full payment will be cancelled by the committee for their participation in the remedial semester.
Lecture, Assignment, & Exam
- Lecture/class meetings are scheduled for running on 2-21 August
- All the teaching and learning processes (delivery of materials, assignments and exams) are organized via online.
- Communication between lecturers and students during the learning process is carried out through the online platform (Google Classroom – Zoom).
- The student attendance process will be managed by the assigned Student attendance can be monitored via: gateway.uii.ac.id.
- Pre-mid exam, mid-exam, and pre-final exam will be carried out by taking the lecture/class meetings in align with the class These exams will be managed by the assigned lecturers.
- The Final exam is set on 23-24 August 2021 and the detail schedule is provided on: fbe.uii.ac.id/smtantara
- All exams (except final exam) are organized by the assigned lecturer, and the exam will be managed through google classroom.
The Prerequisite of Final Exam
Only students with a minimum attendance rate 75% can follow the remedial semester.
Post Lecture
After carrying out the final exam, the remedial semester is completed, and the final grades will be available on UIIGateway: gateway.uii.ac.id
