REMEDIAL SEMESTER
Academic Year 2023/2024
General Procedures
- The remedial semester is OPTIONAL. There is no obligation for students to participate in the remedial semester.
- Students who are allowed to take the remedial semester are those who are active in 2 (two) semesters and/or one semester of the current academic year.
- The available courses are those that students have taken in the previous semesters, including those in the Even Semester 2023/2024
- Each student can take up to 9 credits (SKS). The committee has the right to drop the excess courses without prior confirmation from the students who take more than nine (9) credits.
- Students who are taking KKN (community service) CANNOT take the remedial semester. The committee will automatically unregister such students from remedial semester key-in.
- The minimum number of students in one class is eight (8) for IP classes. If the number of students does not meet the minimum limit, the committee will decide whether the class will be opened/canceled.
- Students that have finished (closed) the theory are NOT allowed to take the remedial semester.
- The exam scores of the remedial semester do not affect the total intake of the credits (SKS) that students will take in the coming Odd Semester Academic Year 2024/2025.
- All classes in this remedial semester will be carried out OFFLINE (face-to-face meeting)
Pre Lecture
- Students who have successfully key in will be automatically assigned to google classroom according to the courses selected within no later than 1 day before the first lecture/class
- Student who have successfully key in but cannot not automatically joined the assigned google classroom until 1 day before the first lecture/class meeting should contact the remedial semester committee via email or WA provided.
- Access to student’s google classroom can be done with the student’s UII Email account ([email protected]). The UII Email access guide is provided in: s.id/pangmailuii.
- Students who have completed the key in procedure but did not make the full payment will be cancelled by the committee for their participation in the remedial semester.
Lecture, Assignment, & Exam
- Lecture/class meetings are scheduled for running on 6-16 August
- All the teaching and learning processes (delivery of materials, assignments and exams) are organized OFFLINE (face-to-face meeting)
- Communication between lecturers and students during the learning process is carried out through the online platform (Google Classroom – Zoom).
- The student attendance process will be managed by the assigned Student attendance can be monitored via gateway.uii.ac.id.
- Mid-exam will be carried out by taking one of the lecture/class meetings and will be independently managed by the assigned lecturers.
- The Final exam is set on 19-21 August 2023 and the detailed schedule is provided on: fbe.uii.ac.id/smtantara
The Prerequisite of Final Exam
Only students with a minimum attendance rate 75% can follow the remedial semester.
Post Lecture
After carrying out the final exam, the remedial semester is completed, and the final grades will be available on UIIGateway: gateway.uii.ac.id
